Breakfast poutine

Feeling really hungry? Invite ever-popular poutine to your brunch! This original variation on a local dish will be a sensation with young and old gourmets alike. It’s a sure bet they'll want a second serving!

For 6 guests

Heat old fashioned beans with pork.

Cover a large baking dish with a bed of hot fried potatoes.

Sprinkle with cheese curds and pieces of cooked bacon or ham.

As a sauce, pour the hot beans over the potatoes, cheese and meat.

Top with chopped green onions or chopped fresh herbs.

To take it up a notch, drizzle on some maple syrup, if desired.

Create a fabulous table spread with waffles, yogurt and granola verrines and fresh fruit.
